Refresh Prayer Ministry

Prayer is foundational to the entire ministry of Northgate. It’s part of our services, small groups, and every program we offer.
Every Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm, we gather at the church for a time of prayer and intercession. We worship, seek the Lord, and pray for those in our congregation, in our neighborhood, and around the world. We also offer prayer ministry to anyone who has a need. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to heal, restore, and bring hope to all who call on the Lord.

Men's Ministry

Getting out with the guys is important. And it's not easy to lead the Christian life as a man in today's culture. So there are several different groups of men who get together for Bible Study, for Tim Horton’s coffee, or over the hood of a car to encourage one another and to share the struggles only another guy can understand. Every month we also have breakfast at the church with all the fixings. That's when we learn what the Bible has to say about what it means to be a real man.

Women's Ministry

Women’s Ministries is a great place for the ladies of Northgate to come together for a time of fellowship. There are several events throughout the year, including our biggest event “Christmas in November.”  We encourage all ladies to invite friends, family members and co-workers to each of our events. These gatherings offer a welcoming environment where we share God’s love with encouragement, fun, and tons of laughter. This is a great way to spend time with ladies, as we come together to support our church family and our community.

JOY Fellowship (for ages 50+)

Growing older doesn’t have to mean being alone or facing struggles without someone to lean on. It can be the best time of your life. The JOY (Just Older Youth) Group meets monthly for a catered meal, songs, and a special speaker.

Fitness with Darryl

Fitness with Darryl is a Health and Fitness Sessions that involve walking, resistance training for strength, stretching, balance and core body strengthening are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:45 to 1:00 led by a qualified trainer. This is a “go-at-your-own-pace” program, so feel free to bring walkers, canes, or crutches, if required. The activities are valuable to a wide age range (45 to 95+), as well as all ability ranges, including all kinds of conditions and disabilities. Comfortable clothes and a comfortable pair of walking shoes are all that’s needed. Sessions will resume September, 2019.
